Taskers can verify their identity and provide a recent criminal-record extract, which our team reviews. Look for the verified badge. Reviews and ratings are on every profile. The first hour is prepaid and held by Sarwisi, and you approve the final payment (or raise a dispute within 24 hours) before the tasker is paid.
How does Sarwisi work
Post a task describing what you need, set your budget, and get matched with qualified taskers in your area. Chat with candidates, agree on details, and when the work is done, approve it to release payment. The whole process is managed in one place.
How to become a tasker
Choose "Tasker" when you create your account (it's separate from a customer account). It's available in the African countries where Sarwisi is open. Complete your profile, pick your services, set your hourly rate for each, and verify your identity to earn the verified badge.
How do I pay my tasker?
When a tasker accepts, you prepay the first hour plus the booking fee in credits. When the job is done, the tasker sends a payment request for the time worked: tap Approve & Pay or raise a dispute within 24 hours; otherwise it's paid automatically. Keep enough balance for the remaining hours.
How do I reimburse my tasker for expenses?
Agree on materials or travel costs in chat before the job. Supplies can be ordered with the task, and for other costs you can send credits from your Wallet (Send credits) once the work is done.
Are taskers licensed or insured
Taskers are independent professionals responsible for their own licensing and insurance. For specialized trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.), always review the tasker's listed credentials and customer reviews before booking.
Why can't I find a tasker
Tasker availability depends on your location and the service requested. Try broadening your search area or adjusting the scheduled date. Some categories may have limited coverage in certain regions — we add new taskers regularly.
How late can I cancel a booking?
You can cancel an offer any time before the tasker accepts. Once a job is booked, message your tasker and contact support if you need to cancel.
Why was I charged a booking fee?
A 20% booking fee is added to what you pay for a task. It covers running the platform, payment processing, holding your payment securely and customer support.
My service is not listed
Many services fall under broader categories — try searching for the nearest match. If you still can't find what you need, use the support chat to submit a request. We review category suggestions regularly and add new services based on demand.
