What are Sarwisi credits
Sarwisi credits are the platform's internal currency used to pay for tasks, rides, and marketplace purchases. 1 credit is worth approximately $0.0074 USD (or about 5 XOF). Credits make cross-border transactions fast and simple.
Can I cash out my Sarwisi credits?
Yes. Taskers, sellers and bus operators can cash out earned credits to the payout account saved in Settings (Wave, Orange Money or PayPal, depending on your country). You'll confirm it's you first. The amount is converted to your local currency.
How can I buy more credits?
Go to your Wallet and tap "Buy credits". Choose an amount and one of the payment methods shown for your country, such as card or PayPal. Credits are added once the payment succeeds.
Viewing my account balance
Your current credit balance is shown in the top navigation bar whenever you're logged in. For a detailed transaction history with dates and descriptions, go to Wallet in your dashboard.
Using my local currency on Sarwisi
Go to Settings → General → Currency and select your preferred display currency. All in-platform transactions are processed in Sarwisi credits, but prices will be shown in your selected currency using the current exchange rate.
Can I use a payment method different from Sarwisi credits?
To buy credits, use one of the methods offered in Buy credits: card, PayPal and, where available, mobile money. Everything on Sarwisi is then paid from your credit balance.
Are there fees when I pay with Sarwisi credits?
Tasks: a 20% booking fee is added for the poster, and taskers pay a 15% service fee. Marketplace: buyers pay 5% at checkout and sellers 15% of the sale (items and shipping). Tool rentals: 8% from the owner. Sending credits to another user is free.
I have issues with Paypal
Make sure your PayPal account is verified and has a linked funding source. If you're redirected back with an error, try clearing your browser cookies and retrying. If the issue persists, contact support with the error message and we'll investigate.
I have issues with Orange Money
If Orange Money is offered in Buy credits, make sure your account has enough balance and approve the payment on your phone. To receive earnings on Orange Money, add your number in Settings → payout accounts. If something fails, contact support with the error message.
